Shockwave Therapy - West Limerick Physiotherapy

West Limerick Physiotherapy Clinic is pleased to announce that we now have a Shockwave Therapy machine at the clinic. Shockwave therapy is used on a wide variety of tendon and joint disorders and can be an alternative to surgery, anti-inflammatory medication and steroid injections.

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that stimulates the body’s natural healing process. It can relieve pain and promote healing in injured tendons, ligaments and other soft tissue.

It is commonly used to treat stubborn injuries like:

Achilles tendon pain
Plantar fasciitis
Heel spur
Tennis elbow
Hamstring pain
Groin pain
Shoulder rotator cuff pain

AMAZING!! I cannot recommend this physiotherapist enough! Life changing for me, quite literally! l've been attending here for about 2 years now, every four weeks and I've never looked back! West Limerick Physiotherapy have helped me so much over the years with sport and work related injuries. They have always accommodated me even with short notice. I have never being disappointed with the result of the Physiotherapy and I never hesitate to return if an injury occurs. Also they have sent videos of excises to ensure speedy recovery. I was recommended Fiona in West Limerick Physio by a friend as I was experiencing excruciating lower back pain which was affecting every aspect of my life.
