
Fiona Noonan-Taylor

Fiona qualified from Manchester University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1997. Having worked in hospital settings and private practice in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, Fiona returned to Ireland in 2006 to set up West Limerick Physiotherapy Clinic with Claire Noonan. The mission statement was clear, to provide the highest quality, evidence-based physiotherapy treatment for patients in collaboration with other clinical specialists in their field.
Fiona completed an MSc in Advanced Healthcare Practice from the University of Limerick in 2017. She continues to develop her specialist interest in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck, lower back, pelvic and shoulder pain. During the MSc program, she completed rehabilitation guidelines for the conservative and post-operative management of shoulder pain. Her research thesis proposed the first physiotherapy rehabilitation guidelines for patients following Superior Capsule Reconstruction (SCR) of the shoulder.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Fiona has developed a specialist interest in the treatment of Women’s and Men`s Pelvic Health including pregnancy-related pain, post-prostatectomy, pelvic girdle pain, pelvic floor dysfunction, overactive bladder (OAB) and pelvic organ prolapse (POP). She is happy to see patients with long-standing, complex lower back, pelvic, neck and shoulder pain that requires a rehabilitation focus in their treatment plan.

Claire Noonan

Claire has worked in both the public and private sector since graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from Manchester University in 2001. This has included working in Ireland, UK, Australia, and New Zealand and on returning to Ireland in 2006 she established West Limerick Physiotherapy Clinic.
Claire completed many post-graduate studies to include an MSc in Advanced Healthcare Practice at the University of Limerick in 2017 with a focus on vestibular rehabilitation and shoulder rehabilitation.
Pursuing a special interest in treating vertigo and balance-related conditions; Claire also has extensive experience in treating neurological conditions such as stroke, head injuries, MS, and Parkinson’s disease.
Claire has developed a keen interest in treating neck and lower back pain to include whiplash related symptoms. Claire is a member of the Irish and Australian Societies of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Personal interests include cooking, cycling, hill walking, pilates, yoga, and travelling.
