Sean McKenna: Physiotherapist
Seán graduated from the University of Limerick (UL), where he was a mature student, in June 2014 with a BSc in Physiotherapy (1st Class Honours). In September 2014 he commenced postgraduate research within the Department of Clinical Therapies in UL and is now pursuing a PhD. His research is in the area of anti-inflammatory effects of exercise in people with rheumatoid arthritis.
Seán has a keen interest in sport, having previously played with Belvedere Rugby Club. He is a qualified Ski-instructor and Pilates teacher so understands the importance of mobility and stability in the rehabilitation of chronic injuries.
