Fiona Noonan Taylor: Chartered Physiotherapist
Fiona graduated from The University of Manchester in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She has worked both in hospitals and private practice in Ireland, UK, Australia and New Zealand before setting up West Limerick Physiotherapy Clinic in 2006.
While living and working in Australia, Fiona completed a 1 year, post-graduate qualification in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. This post-graduate study has allowed Fiona to develop her special interests in neck/shoulder and lower back pain.
Fiona also has extensive clinical experience in treating sports injuries, having worked extensively with local rugby and GAA teams, with The Young Munster rugby team in limerick for 2 seasons and Finley Australian Rules Football Club in New South Wales, Australia.
Since the birth of her first child in 2010, Fiona has taken a special interest in treating Women`s Health conditions, treating all types of pregnancy related pelvic problems, pelvic floor rehabilitation and stress incontinence.
Personal interests include hill walking, yoga, pilates, mountain biking and reading.
Fiona is currently completing an MSc in Advanced Clinical Healthcare from the Clinical Therapies Department in the University of Limerick. Her research thesis will look at functional outcomes of patients that have under-gone specialised rehabilitation following rotator cuff surgery of the shoulder.
